Marty Haggard was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. Of course, everyone knows his Dad, Merle Haggard. Marty considers his dad the greatest singer/songwriter ever and I’m sure a lot of people agree with that. Growing up, Marty was able to travel with his dad and witness the writing and recording of all his great songs. He also had the opportunity to know many of the country greats, like Bob Wills, Lefty Frizzell, and Johnny Cash, just to name a few. It’s obvious Marty was influenced by the legendary artists and their music while traveling with his dad. In 1979, Marty began touring with his own band, signing with Dimension Records in 1981. From 1983 to 1985, Marty toured with his dad, playing guitar and singing harmony. Marty signed with MTM Records in 1986 and released Trains Make Me Lonesome, which garnered him a nomination as best new male vocalist. Marty signed with Critique/BMG in 1995 and after some time decided to leave the Nashville lifestyle behind. In 1999, Marty and his wife, Tessa, formed Marty Haggard Music and Marty began writing and singing spiritual songs inspired by his life spent with his Grandma Haggard after his mom and dad were divorced. There were also many struggles growing up the son of such a famous father. For the next ten years, Marty traveled the country with his wife and son, Jamey, not as a preacher, but just to sing and proclaim his love and personal relationship with Jesus. He still found time to go back to his roots and play country venues, also. Marty’s love for his dad and his music eventually inspired him to begin a new project, which he titled A Tribute to Merle Haggard “My Dad”. In 2010, he recorded the first album of this project with a 15 song CD of Hag classics. This led to a tribute show in Branson, Mo, where he performed for two years. In 2011, Marty released A Tribute to Merle Haggard “My Dad’ Volume 2. He then took the show on the road throughout the country plus Canada, Ireland, Scotland and England. As Marty’s song Apple proclaims, “the apple never falls too far from its tree”. Anyone who’s afraid that true country music is disappearing from the modern world needs to discover The French Family Band.

Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. He joined them first as a temporary replacement for Lew DeWitt, after DeWitt heard him singing at a ski resort and recommended him. Following an audition in Nashville, Jimmy was contacted by The Statler Brothers and performed his first show with them on January 28, 1982, in Savannah, Georgia. Due to the debilitating effects of Crohn’s Disease, Lew was unable to return to the stage with the Startlers, and Jimmy was hired as a permanent replacement in August of 1982. Fortune quickly lived up to his name. He wrote the group's second No. 1 hit, Elizabeth, on their 1983 album Today, and followed that with two more No. 1 hits--My Only Love (from 1984's Atlanta Blue) and Too Much On My Heart (from 1985's Pardners in Rhyme). Fortune also wrote the top 10 hit Forever from 1986's Four for the Show and co-wrote the top 10 hit More Than a Name on a Wall from 1988's The Greatest Hits. Jimmy has performed in all of the U.S. States, in Canadian Provinces, and in front of audiences as large as 100,000. He was part of the Startlers’ annual Happy Birthday USA celebration in Staunton, Virginia, for 14 years. He also sang on many of the Statler's’ gold, platinum, and double platinum recordings. Jimmy’s career included The Nashville Network’s popular The Statler Brothers’ Show which aired for seven seasons and debuted in 1991 as the highest rated show for the network. Jimmy was privileged to perform at the White House on two occasions, once for President Ronald Reagan, and once for President George H. W. Bush. He also presented a special gift to actress Elizabeth Taylor by singing his song Elizabeth to her for a birthday celebration. Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the GMA (Gospel Music Association) Hall of Fame on October 29, 2007, and inducted into the CMA (Country Music Association) Hall of Fame on June 29, 2008. Jimmy, as a solo artist, was inducted into the Virginia Musical Hall of Fame in 2018. After The Statler Brothers retired on October 26, 2002, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans. His first solo CD, When One Door Closes, was released August 2003 on Audium/Koch. He released a gospel album, I Believe, in June 2005, a Christmas CD, Feels Like Christmas, in 2006, a live concert DVD in 2007 a country CD, Windows in 2009, Lessons in 2012. In 2025 Jimmy published his memoir, Story of an American Dreamer. Adding to this he also released an autobiography CD and DVD called Songs of an American Dreamer on the Gaither Music Group label. Jimmy is currently living in Tennessee, writing, touring, and recording music.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a new nation was born — and with it, a musical tradition unlike anything the world had ever heard. This is not your average patriotic concert. The GMA proudly presents The Music of America — a high-energy, live musical documentary that traces America's wildly original musical story from the Revolutionary era all the way to rock and roll. Think jaw-dropping musicianship, fascinating stories you've never heard, and music that will have you tapping your feet, wiping a tear, and standing on your feet — sometimes all in the same song. The evening unfolds like a live documentary, with an emcee weaving together the surprising, funny, and moving true stories behind America's greatest musical inventions. And woven through it all are two unforgettable dramatic performances: an actor stepping into the boots of General George Washington to reflect on the nation he helped build, and a second actor portraying Audie Murphy — the most decorated American soldier of World War II, a Texas farm boy who came home a hero and found his voice as an entertainer. Act I kicks off with the electricity of a brass band before diving into the rollicking, irresistible rhythms of Scott Joplin's ragtime — the music that made America want to dance. From there, it's the soul-deep emotion of the blues, the dazzling showmanship of Broadway's golden age, and the irresistible swing of early jazz and big band. These aren't just musical styles. They are American inventions — born right here, and copied by the rest of the world ever since. Act II picks up with the voice of Audie Murphy and then swings into the velvet cool of Sinatra-era jazz before heading down the back roads into bluegrass and folk — the sound of the American heartland. From there, it's country music and the storytellers who made it great, then the raw, electric arrival of rock and roll. The evening closes the way it has to close — with a full-house performance of The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America that will give every person in the room chills. This is America's music — and on her 250th birthday, we're giving it the celebration it deserves. Come join us. You will not be bored.

THE BELLAMY BROTHERS: THE LOVE STILL FLOWS… Howard and David continue to prove that the trail they’ve ridden to fame has been as unique as their music itself—music that celebrates 50 years of success in 2025. The road that started on the pop music charts in the ‘70’s, took a winding turn into country music in the ‘80’s, paving the way for duos to come, such as Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich and previously—The Judds. But before the road forked into country, the musical odyssey of brothers Bellamy started creatively smoldering in their home state of Florida, before exploding nationally amidst the ’70’s pop music culture of L.A. The brothers first official gig was in 1968, playing a free show with their father at the Rattlesnake Roundup in San Antonio, Florida. They honed their early skills playing Black clubs throughout the south, and singing backup for artists such as Percy Sledge, Eddie Floyd and Little Anthony & The Imperials. Within a few months, the brothers moved north, immersing themselves and their rock/country sound in the Atlanta market, where the Allman Brothers were the emerging kings of the music world. With the dawning of the Age of Aquarius on the horizon, and America embroiled in a smoke haze of drugs, civil unrest and an unpopular war, the Bellamy's music picked up the hard driving edge that bespoke the times. Songwriting had become David Bellamy’s drug of choice during the long road gigs he and Howard were regularly pulling bodies and equipment to and from. It was his songwriting that was posed to soon provide the duo a national breakout. The break came in the form of the hit, “Spiders & Snakes,” written by David and recorded by Jim Stafford. The song became a smash, eventually selling more than three million units worldwide. It became the catapult that rocketed the brothers onto the L.A. music scene. Young and impressionable, Howard and David fell into the musical circle of the greats of the day: Bob Dylan, James Taylor and Van Morrison, as well as West Coast based country rockers like Poco and the Byrds. It was a creative shoe that fit. It was a creative shoe that fit. On the infrequent off days from the road, Howard and David head the bus back to their 150-acre family ranch in Darby, Florida just north of Tampa. The Bellamy Brothers’ hit reality series, “Honky Tonk Ranch,” chronicles their “unusual lives, blending music stardom, vigorous road tours and cattle ranching (Tampa Bay Times)." The show, which was originally broadcast on The Cowboy Channel (a subsidy of RFD-TV), currently airs on Circle Country. The Bellamy Brothers also remain busy with their Trulieve medical marijuana brand Old Hippie Stash, which includes the strains Reggae Cowboy, Big Love, Afterglow, Rattler, Blue Rodeo and Bird Dog. The duo backed the Smart & Safe Florida campaign to implement safe and common-sense cannabis regulation in their home state of Florida. In 2019, the Bellamys released their first book Let Your Love Flow – the Life and Times of The Bellamy Brothers. The book is about two Florida cowboys who journeyed from country poverty to worldwide musical stardom because they had the talent and because it never occurred to them, they couldn’t make it.

Best known as modern-day troubadours who carry the torch for traditional country music, The Malpass Brothers began singing and playing together professionally at a very young age. Alongside their dad, Chris Malpass Sr., the siblings performed at churches all over the southeast, but they continued to hone their traditional sound by working alongside and amongst the legends. The Malpass Brothers are anything but a “throwback” cover group. Instead, they are the “real deal.” Mentored and credentialed by the biggest legends of bluegrass and country music, the brother duo continues to deliver new, yet traditional music in modern times (complete with pearl-snap shirts, Manuel/Nudie suits, over-shaped cowboy hats, and pompadour coiffure, just to drive home the point). Their firm “traditionalism” has captured the attention of the industry and traditional country fans, leading to their worldwide notoriety. Country music purists will agree, there is no one to better represent the tried-and-true hit-makers of the 50s, 60s, and 70s like the Malpass Brothers.
