ABOUT US
Built in 1939, the Greenville Municipal Auditorium or GMA has played an important role here in Greenville. Over the decades multiple performers have graced the GMA stage including some of the greatest artists of all time. We’ve had Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Crowder, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Victor Borge, Chet Atkins, Mercy Me, and the King of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley and that’s just the start of the list.
Our community is experiencing an unprecedented growth phase and the GMA is working to grow along with our city and county. We are actively working on programs and connections to make the GMA a regional entertainment destination for the people moving into our community. Our long-time residents already know that the GMA is an amazing place to see a concert, musical, or play, and we want to introduce as many people as possible to our historic venue.
Each year we host multiple events including concerts, musicals, plays, and other shows. The shows range from local community theatre to major artists and we are working to broaden our scope to include new acts to ensure there’s always something for everyone here at the GMA.
