“An Afternoon with Rachmaninoff and Mendelssohn”

“Former Greenville ISD Suzuki Strings cello faculty Tsun-yuet Emmanuel Kwok returns to Greenville with award-winning pianist Xinzhuo Li and violinist Seowon Lee for an afternoon of Romantic chamber music. The program features Rachmaninoff’s Sonata for Cello and Piano, followed by Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor. Violinist Seowon Lee, a prizewinner in major international competitions, has appeared as soloist with orchestras in Korea and the United States and currently performs with the Dallas Opera while serving on the faculty at Tarrant County College. Cellist, Tsun-yuet Emmanuel Kwok is currently Professor of Cello at Nelson University and Tarrant County College and is an active soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer throughout North Texas, New York, and Arkansas. Pianist Xinzhuo Li, First Prize winner of the 2024 SWISS International Music Competition, is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of North Texas and is known for her expressive artistry and dynamic
